Workmate has a unique and comprehensive Schedulex function that is the main centre for editing, issuing and keeping track of all work requests within your Workmate system. The Schedulex program looks and operates like a conventional report. It is, however, far more comprehensive than a standard report as a single click on the right mouse button gives you a number of work order edit functions to make your work schedule simple and efficient to maintain.
To open the Workmate Schedulex program:
Press the Workmate Schedulex button on the Workmate control centre, or the Schedulex button in the tool bar.
The Schedulex retrieval criteria window will open.
Press View Report to take you to your Workmate Schedulex list
Once you have selected the required work sheet criteria Workmate will build a work schedule list and display it in the Workmate Schedulex program.
The St column displays the status of all items. Black with a P is work that is Pending or ready to be issued. Green with an A is Active or started, but not completed. Red with a C is work that is closed and blue with a Pl is Planned or work that is scheduled to be done at some future date.
Edit a Work Order from Schedulex
Workmate gives you the ability to 'go-to' or 'jump' to other parts of the system by using the right mouse button to access a pop-up menu. To edit of modify a Work Order highlight it by clicking on it with the mouse. Press the right mouse button and choose the Go To Work Order option. You can also edit of modify a Work Order by double clicking on it from the Workmate Schedulex list.
Close/Update a Work Order from Schedulex
To close a Work Order or add or modify activity details highlight it by clicking on it with the mouse. Press the right mouse button and choose the Go To Activity option.
Sorting Schedulex List
The default sort criteria for the Workmate Schedulex list is priority then by date in ascending order. To sort your Schedulex list in the way you require press the grey header button at the top of each column. A second click on the column header sort button will sort the list in descending order.
Summary
By now you should be able to view you work schedule, select and print work orders, sort the Schedulex list and go to the enter activity section of Workmate via Schedulex.
